Media Alliance and International Advertising Festival (IAF) Red Apple launch a special award for social advertising

Media Alliance, one of the largest media corporations operating in the pay-TV segment in Russia and distributing Discovery Channel, Eurosport, TLC, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, CNN and other brands, many of these brands leading in their respective categories, has become a partner of the International Advertising Festival (IAF) Red Apple.
Media Alliance creates Special Award in Red Apple’s Social Advertising category. Award-winning social issue ads will air free for one month on Discovery Channel, Eurosport 1, TLC and Animal Planet across Russia.
Social advertising does not always align with formats of television channels, so this segment often has much less airtime available than commercials. Cooperation with Red Apple and creation of this special award are designed to support the social advertising industry and enable it to develop on modern TV.

However, any advertising requires both creative ideas and distribution channels – here is where TV as the currently most popular media channel may play a key role. Red Apple is over 1,000 entries annually from all over the world, record-breaking number of talents at one venue and impressive jury (over 200 Lions held collectively by 14 people)!
Entries are to be submitted on the IAF Red Apple official website between August 1 and October 28. The awarding ceremony for the winners of the 26th International Advertising Festival Red Apple will take place on December 9 in Congress Park at Radisson Hotel Moscow.
The IAF always brings together leading creative professionals from global and local communication agencies, and marketing and advertising executives of major brands.
